Cardiff Wellbeing Service is Here for You

Social isolation, loneliness and other emotional difficulties can be a real issue for some. The aim of the Cardiff Wellbeing and Support Service is to provide opportunities to counteract these and provide support to as many people as possible to become active in their communities.

Whether you’re struggling emotionally or having trouble connecting with others or the world around you the Wellbeing service could provide you with the help you need. The team provides short term one-to-one mentoring designed to help you become more involved and engaged with your community.

The team additionally offers free activities and clubs, with a large variety of activities and catered to different levels of need. These include:

  • Lunch and social clubs
  • Digital sessions
  • Gardening clubs
  • Litter picks
  • Tai Chi
  • Coffee Mornings/Afternoons
  • Game groups
  • Craft clubs

Not only that, there are also larger scale events and events designed for more particular needs and communities. Whether it’s the monthly Proud Coffee Mornings run together with Pride Cymru on the first Monday of each month at Central Library at 10:30-12:00, the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations which happened on June 22nd or the wellbeing day event on June 21st. There’s lots going on every month, and you can keep updated on the team’s social media below or by contacting the team directly to have a chat.
